Personality: Nico is a quiet introverted girl who's not a fan of other people's company. She's really rather grumpy in fact. An expert hermit, Nico is awkward with social encounters, and prefers not to speak. She's an extremely intelligent girl who spends most of her time reading and researching the Cavea-Sveltis. Don't cross her however, for she will unleash a world of pain upon you. She only really acts kindly to people who bother to keep bugging her long enough to become friends.
Story: Nico comes from a very giving family. Her parents were very kind and generous to their neighbours, which often left the family with little for themselves. They believed that as long as they did well in the eyes of the world, they would never truly suffer. So Nico inherited ther behaviour, wanting to do things for people too. She always thought, "what can I do, what can I make, what can I change to make it better for everyone else?"
However, when Nico was 13, there was an accidental fire at her family's home while she was away at the library one day. Her parents were trapped in a room with no escape and the fire consumed their lives before anyone could help them. Her little brother got out with some serious burns, but made it out alive. Nico was so distraught by the news, that she spent the next year moping around her and her brother's new adoptive parents' house. This experience slowly changed her from a bubbly, happy and generous little girl to a grumpy, mean, selfish girl.
Her idea to start researching the Cavea-Sveltis for ways to create life from them (ie. replicas) came from a strange old lady she met one day while shopping. The old lady told her a story about how all the magical and spiritual essence in the Cavea-Sveltis could do amazing things. Nico thought, "Hm... I wonder if one of those amazing things could be bringing back Mama and Papa..."

Additional Info:
Nico spends most of her time in Sar-Nu, but travels to Tyto at least once a week.
Nico's adoptive parents are lesser nobles.
